Women Moving Women

We did it!

Thanks to the support of women and men across Canada; national corporations and small business owners, together we have raised $6.25 million to help move women out of poverty.

Through 2,500 gifts or pledges of $2,500 and some special events, we've achieved the goal of the Women Moving Women campaign. 

In the last several years, over 1,000 women have participated in life-changing economic development programs that you have helped support.  And as Women Moving Women pledges are completed, you will continue to help an additional 1,500 more women start their journey out of poverty.

Though you have helped us reach our goal for Women Moving Women, it is just the start of a national movement to end women's poverty.  You can still pledge to help move women in Canada out of poverty.

Thank you especially to the Women Moving Women National Committee, lead by the fearless Chair, Janice Rubin.  Janice received the Sisterhood Award for her leadership in the Women Moving Women campaign.
