Montana

When ten-year-old Montana stood up and started speaking in front of a room full of strangers, her mother couldn’t believe it.

Just a few months earlier, Montana had been so painfully shy she even found it hard to talk in front of family and friends.

But after attending an all-girls program, Montana learned to break out of her shell and relate to people with a new openness. She and the other girls participated in fun, hands-on activities that built their confidence and their interest in science, math, and technology. Along the way, Montana discovered a neGirls hand holding a wormw dream—to become a veterinarian.

The program included presentations like the one Montana’s mom witnessed.

“I went to the girls’ presentation on one of their projects, and there’s my daughter standing at the front speaking.”

“She’s really a new person, I can’t describe it any other way.”
