Address the greatest needs

We target our support to women and girls who need it most. Our priority is to help women and girls who face the highest risks and who live in urban and rural communities with the fewest services, such as remote northern communities.

We also target women who are new to Canada, so they can quickly get on their financial feet. One of our biggest priorities is women and girls from First Nation, Metis, and Inuit communities, who face extremely high levels of domestic violence, poverty, and sexual exploitation.
