We prevent violence against women
The Canadian Women’s Foundation’s vision is for all women in Canada to live free from violence. That’s why we support more than 400 shelters for abused women across the country through our annual Shelter from the Storm campaign.

We also fund groundbreaking initiatives that help women and their children rebuild their lives after abuse (like emergency loan funds), that teach teens about healthy relationships, and that counsel children who have witnessed violence, to help them heal and prevent them from becoming victims or abusers themselves.
