Project Respect is a peer-facilitated workshop series for adolescent parents who are at higher risk of experiencing domestic violence. With help from key members of the community and a focus on creating a “healthy home”, young parents will develop positive coping mechanisms, build a support network with other participants, and become familiar with community support services.

"Women in the Circle" uses a talking circle to provide a safe and supportive environment in which women and youth, who have been affected by sexual abuse, can openly explore the impact of the abuse in their lives and learn how to heal. Four high school workshops (two female groups and two male groups) are also being developed to explore the effects of sexual abuse on young people’s daily lives. Up to 15 First Nations women and 30 youth are expected to participate.
